What a green idea.

It’s been two (?!) weeks since I’ve got my Pinterst account and I’m already in love with it. So many wonderful recipes, decoration ideas, wedding photos, table settings…. But one thing that immediately caught my eye was the following:

To save the bulb of a green onion and toss it in a glass of water. They say that you will have a whole new bunch of delicious green onions within a couple of days. I’m excited! If you are a regular reader of Blue.White.Striped. you know that I love to add some rich green plants to my appartement and watch them grow! ( Remember the lovely hyacinths and daffodils? What a delight!) So it is obvious I have to try this. Find out if it works. Have you ever heard of something like this? Share your experiences, please! And give me a hint, where I can find YOU on Pinterest!
