Homemade Bagels.

Bagels come closest to the german “Brötchen”, a delicious peace of dough, crispy outside and fluffy inside. I’ve never tried to make bagels at home, because it always seemed totally impossible for me to do all the required steps right. But I found a recipe that seemed doable, so I gave it a try! Turned out making bagels requires some time but isn’t impossible at all. I was surprise about the great result:  They are just awesome fresh out of the oven. Crunchy and fluffy at the same time. I just added some french salted butter and basil. Wow!
